01
Scope and who we are
This policy applies to the 8nfinity Photography website, the 8nfinity wedding app for Apple devices, and related wedding-planning, client, gallery, film, guest-sharing, and studio services that link to this policy. “8nfinity,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to 8nfinity Photography, a husband-and-wife photography and film studio based in Pensacola, Florida.
External services that you open from our website or app have their own privacy practices. This policy describes what we can observe in the 8nfinity services themselves and identifies the main providers those services currently use.
02
Information handled by our services
Wedding, client, and contact information
We may handle information entered by a client, guest, crew member, or the studio, including names, email addresses or phone numbers, wedding dates, venues or cities, planner or vendor contact details, inquiry information, coverage preferences, and private client or crew access codes.
Planning and creative content
The app may contain wedding timelines, family-formal groupings, must-have moments, notes, questionnaires, privacy preferences, style references, readiness information, and links to client portals, galleries, films, livestreams, websites, guest uploads, and related services. When an import or assisted-planning feature is used, the material selected for that feature may include PDFs, text, screenshots, images, or wedding context.
Photos, video, and uploads
If you choose a photo, capture an image, upload sneak peeks, or use a gallery-upload feature, the selected media and associated wedding or project identifier may be processed to provide that feature. Merely granting photo-library or camera access does not cause us to receive every photo on a device.
Device, notification, and network information
If notifications are enabled, the app sends an Apple Push Notification service token, platform, app identifier, and related wedding or project identifier to our notification service. Our servers and hosting or security providers may also process ordinary request information such as IP address, request time, browser or device details, route, and diagnostic logs. Failed private-code lookups may be associated with a one-way keyed representation of network information for abuse prevention; the reviewed implementation does not store the raw IP address in that rate-limit record.
Website analytics, embeds, and inquiries
Public website pages use Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions. Google may receive browser or device information, page and interaction information, network information, and identifiers stored through cookies or similar browser storage. Inquiry forms and client-portal features may be provided by HoneyBook. Video, gallery, social, or other embedded content may allow that provider to receive information when the content is loaded or opened.
Sign in with Apple
If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide the name or relay email information you authorize. In the reviewed app flow, the returned display name is used to label the signed-in experience; Apple controls the Apple ID authentication process.
03
How we use information
We use information as reasonably necessary to:
- respond to inquiries and provide contracted photography, film, planning, gallery, and client services;
- create and synchronize an authorized wedding workspace across devices;
- display the right wedding, timeline, links, gallery, film, or planning information to an authorized client, guest, crew member, or studio user;
- process an upload, import, assisted-planning request, or other feature the user chooses;
- send requested or enabled wedding-status and gallery notifications;
- protect private access, limit abusive code attempts, diagnose failures, and maintain service reliability;
- understand public website performance and interaction through analytics; and
- meet contractual, accounting, legal, or safety obligations.
Advertising: the reviewed native app does not contain a third-party advertising SDK and does not serve third-party ads. The public website uses Google Analytics as described above. Whether analytics information is used or combined beyond our configuration is also governed by Google’s terms and the settings of the applicable Google Analytics property.
04
Information kept on your device
The app stores preferences, drafts, selected wedding state, favorites, notes, and other working data in Apple-provided app storage. Media or covers may be stored in the app’s local file container. A studio roster credential is stored in the Apple Keychain on the device in the reviewed build. Deleting the app generally removes its local app container, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior; cloud-backed wedding information may remain on the services that received it.
If the studio enables extra privacy for a wedding, the app may ask iOS to confirm the device owner with Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode. 8nfinity receives only the result of that authentication request, not a face image, fingerprint, or biometric template.
Camera, photo-library, notification, and biometric access are controlled through Apple’s system permissions and device settings. Some features will not work if their permission is declined, but the rest of the app may remain available.
05
Service providers and hosting
Current services observed in the website, app, or supporting backend include:
- Netlify for public website hosting and delivery;
- Vercel for application programming interfaces and server functions;
- Supabase for database, authentication, storage, and related cloud features;
- Apple for app distribution, Sign in with Apple, device permissions, and push notifications;
- Google Analytics and Google Fonts for website measurement and font delivery;
- HoneyBook for inquiry or client-portal workflows;
- OpenAI when an assisted planning or recommendation feature is intentionally used;
- Resend for supported transactional email workflows; and
- Vimeo, YouTube, gallery, and client-service providers when their links or embedded experiences are configured for a wedding.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may process information in locations different from yours. Features and providers can change as the service evolves; this page will be updated when a material change affects this description.
06
When information is shared
Information may be made available to service providers that operate the features described above; to a client, guest, crew member, planner, or vendor when the studio or client directs or authorizes that sharing; or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, investigate abuse, protect people or services, or respond to a valid legal request.
Client links and access codes are intended for the people authorized for that wedding. Anyone who receives a working link or code may be able to reach the information it protects, so share them carefully and contact us if one should be replaced or disabled.
07
Retention
Retention depends on the type of information, the wedding or service involved, whether an account or project remains active, business-record and contractual needs, security and dispute needs, legal obligations, and the operating practices of our providers. We do not promise one fixed deletion period for every category.
When a verified deletion request applies, we will take reasonable steps within the systems we control, subject to information that must be retained for legal, contractual, fraud-prevention, backup, or legitimate business-record purposes. Copies in provider backups or logs may remain until those systems cycle or are otherwise handled under the provider’s procedures.
08
Your choices and requests
You can control camera, photo-library, notification, and biometric permissions in Apple device settings. Browser controls can limit cookies or similar storage, although some website or embedded features may behave differently. You can also choose not to use an optional import, upload, analytics-facing website route, or assisted-planning feature.
Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about how personal information is handled. We may need to verify your identity and your authority over the wedding or information before acting.
Make a privacy request
Email us with the subject “Privacy Request.” Include your name, the email address used with 8nfinity, the wedding or couple name if relevant, and whether you are asking to access, correct, or delete information. Do not email a private access code unless we specifically request it through a secure channel.

Security
The reviewed services use HTTPS for network requests, private wedding or studio access controls, Apple Keychain storage for a studio credential, app-container storage for local data, and server-side controls intended to limit unauthorized requests. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or lost.
If you believe a private wedding link, code, or account has been exposed, contact us promptly so we can evaluate the appropriate response.
10
Children
Our website and app are not directed to children under 13. Wedding and family media may include children when an adult client, parent, guardian, or authorized studio user provides that content as part of photography, film, gallery, or planning services. If you believe a child submitted personal information directly without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review the situation.
11
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website, app, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page before or when the revised practices take effect, as appropriate.
