If you’re planning a wedding on Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A and looking for a 30A wedding photographer, you’re already ahead of the game. The 30A corridor stretches from Inlet Beach in the east to Dune Allen in the west. It’s one of the most architecturally and naturally beautiful stretches of coastline in the world. Getting married here says something about who you are: intentional, design-forward, and deeply in love with the Gulf Coast.
We’re 8nfinity Photography, based in Pensacola, and we photograph 30A weddings throughout the entire corridor. Our coverage includes Santa Rosa Beach, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seaside, WaterColor, WaterSound, Seagrove Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, and beyond. Here’s our complete guide to planning your 30A wedding photography.
The Gulf Coast has many beautiful wedding destinations, but 30A occupies a category of its own. The communities along this stretch of coast were designed with intentionality — New Urbanism architecture, pedestrian-friendly town centers, and building codes that preserve the character of each neighborhood. The result is a wedding backdrop that feels genuinely unlike anywhere else.
From a photography perspective, 30A is extraordinary. The water has a clarity and color that ranges from deep sapphire to bright turquoise depending on depth and light. The architecture of Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach creates striking geometric backdrops. The natural landscape of Topsail Hill and Point Washington State Forest adds lush, organic contrast. And the golden-hour light along this stretch of coast is, genuinely, some of the best wedding photography light in the world.
Rosemary Beach — The most architecturally distinctive community on 30A. Inspired by European coastal villages, it features white-washed buildings, narrow cobblestone streets, and a central boardwalk leading directly to the Gulf. It’s intimate, elegant, and unlike anywhere else in Florida.
Alys Beach — Pure white Berber-inspired architecture, sculptural forms, and private courtyards. Alys Beach is one of the most visually striking communities on the Gulf Coast. The contrast between the brilliant white buildings and the blue-green Gulf is genuinely spectacular.
Seaside — The original New Urbanist town and the most well-known community on 30A. Seaside’s amphitheater, central square, and pastel cottages create a warm, communal setting. The Seaside Chapel is one of the most beloved small wedding venues on the entire Gulf Coast.
WaterColor — Set between Western Lake and the Gulf, WaterColor offers a lush landscape that contrasts beautifully with the coast. The WaterColor Inn and Resort is a gracious venue with beautiful outdoor spaces and Gulf views. The surrounding community has a green, almost tropical feel that’s distinctive on 30A.
WaterSound — The most private and exclusive community on 30A. WaterSound Beach offers a wilder, more natural stretch of coastline. It’s ideal for couples who want seclusion and a raw, natural atmosphere for their wedding day.
Santa Rosa Beach — The largest community along the corridor, with a wide range of venues and settings. From lakeside properties near Grayton Beach to beachfront options along the Gulf, it offers more flexibility than the smaller communities. Its more secluded beach at Topsail Hill is one of the most pristine ceremony settings in all of Florida.
We photographed Hannah and Tyler’s wedding along Santa Rosa Island — a morning that began with rain and ended with a bonfire reception on the beach. The weather changed the light in ways we couldn’t have planned. The couple moved through their day with complete joy, regardless of the conditions. It reminded us that the best wedding photography happens when you stop controlling the day and start documenting it honestly.
We also photographed Austin and Kendall’s engagement session in Rosemary Beach. That afternoon captured exactly why this community is so extraordinary for photography. The architecture, the light, the intimacy of the town — it all came together beautifully.
30A is one of the most popular elopement destinations on the Gulf Coast. The setting is gorgeous, the communities are intimate, and the atmosphere encourages you to slow down and be present. We love photographing 30A elopements — from two-person ceremonies at Topsail Hill to small gatherings at Rosemary Beach.

30A is made for cinematic wedding films. The visual richness of the architecture, the light, the water, and the landscape gives our videographer extraordinary material to work with. The results feel like short films — not just wedding videos. Our combined photo and video packages are especially popular for 30A couples, because the setting rewards both mediums fully.
Golden hour on 30A during wedding season falls roughly between 7:00–8:30pm. We always recommend planning your outdoor couple portraits during this window. The light transformation along this coast during those final hours is extraordinary and completely unrepeatable.
For beach ceremonies, we recommend morning or late afternoon timing to avoid the harsh midday sun. Morning light on the Gulf is a beautiful alternative to golden hour. It creates a quieter, more intimate emotional quality in your photos.
