Weddings

Sowell Farms wedding photographer coverage works best when the images preserve both the emotional pace of the day and the warm character of the venue.

There are weddings that feel like a beginning, and there are weddings that feel like a culmination. Hollie and TJ’s day at Sowell Farms in Milton, Florida felt earned in the best possible way.

They had already built a family together, and the wedding reflected that depth. It felt less like a debut and more like a declaration. After ten years, they were still choosing each other with full intention.

They chose Sowell Farms because of the animals, and that detail says a lot about them. The day mixed taupe, blush, champagne, and even a playful nod to cow print. Because the choices felt honest, they also felt memorable.

The property itself carries a kind of untamed Florida beauty. There are open skies, rough wood, and spring light that turns golden in the afternoon. It does not need much help to feel beautiful, which makes it a strong place for wedding photographs.

The People Around Them

Hair and makeup were handled by Amanda Godwin and Natalie Watson. Hollie’s bridal party included sisters, lifelong friends, and chosen family. TJ stood beside his brother Patrick, who served as best man, along with RJ and Clay.

Their daughters, McKenzie and McKinley, served as flower girls. Aisley arrived as the self-declared ring fairy, complete with wings. Naturally, she stole a good share of the spotlight.

The Ceremony

At 3 p.m., Kyle Whitfield officiated the ceremony while cows grazed in the distance. Hollie stepped into the afternoon light, and TJ’s reaction said everything. That first look across the ceremony space carried a lot of history in a very small moment.

The ceremony itself stayed short and meaningful. It did not need much length to carry weight. When it ended, the light was exactly right for the portraits that followed.

The Reception

DJ Feliz kept the room moving, and the cake came from Rollin n Dough. Hollie and TJ shared a first dance that felt quiet, grounded, and fully earned. It landed differently because everyone in the room knew the years behind it.

Later, the garter toss brought exactly the awkward humor TJ hoped for. After that, the dance floor never slowed down. By the end of the night, the reception felt like what it really was: a family celebrating the life they had already built together.
